Summary: The Financial Officer provides budgetary, financial management and advisory services
to the Executive Director and is responsible for all aspects of the accounting management policies, programs and systems, including accounting,
banking, budgeting and revenue management.
Responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining and establishing an automated financial
management system that encompasses a general ledger,
managerial-financial reporting, and the ability to produce financial
statements. Acts as the financial and budgetary liaison with other government bodies to ensure that the financial operations are handled in accordance regulations, policies, procedures and sound financial practices.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or accounting, plus six (6) years experience in financial management including at
least four (4) years at a management level in a government agency or
private organization.

POSITION LEVEL:

Work closely with Project Leader to develop and manage project plans.Assist Project Leader with the creation and maintenance of project related control documentation such as project charters, scope documents, tracking logs, etc.Track and compile project data for internal and external reporting.Ensure consistent deployment and use of general project management processes and tools.Perform administrative duties as related to project tasks including organizing meetings, recording and distribution of minutes.Facilitate project communication within team.Tracking of project risks, constraints, issues, action items, etc. using the appropriate methodology.Identify and resolve/escalate potential conflicts between long term architecture direction and project constraints.Solid skills in managing issues, changes and problems.
