Description:
Under the direction of a more senior staff member, carries out research on assigned research problems contributing to the attainment of a defined research objective. The nature of the work performed by the incumbent will normally be the solution of specific aspects of complex research problems. The problems assigned are normally short range in terms of time required for solution.
Requirement:
College, Biology - Required. Candidate must be able to culture human cancer cell lines, conduct cell-based assays in multi-well format, and analyze data generated using spreadsheet and graphing programs. Experience evaluating the effect of therapeutic agents on the proliferation/viability of cells, and on proteins inside the cell (via Western, ELISA, or other antibody-based method) is strongly preferred. Experience using multiwell plates and multichannel dispensing pipettes is also highly desirable.

JOB OBJECTIVE:

To perform administrative duties and functions of the Front Office as directed by the Manager and Team Leader- Client Services
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To provide comprehensive Front Office support for all of the company’s mutual funds and third party funds.
• To provide support to all Wealth Managers, Investment Advisors, Agents and Internal Staff.
• To reconcile all subscription, redemption and related bank accounts.
• To become proficient in the company’s investment management software.

EDUCATION:
• Five (5) O’ Levels, including English and Mathematics, Accounts would be an asset.
• Two (2) A’ Levels.
• Undergraduate Degree in Finance/ Accounting/Investments would be an asset.
• A certificate in Customer Service.

To provide Personal Computer (and basic network related) Technical support to all users within Guardian Holdings Limited.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To install, maintain and upgrade all company personal computer related hardware and software.
• To resolve personal computer and network related hardware and software problems.
• Ensure that all problems / requests are properly documented in the Help Desk application and the users are provided with feedback on the status of these problems / requests on a timely basis.
• To keep abreast of computer technology and enhancement of software packages.
• To perform daily tape media (offsite) duties.

EDUCATION:

Requirements: The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, electronics or a related discipline and have hands-on experience with HPLC, GC. Multiple vendor's equipment such as Waters, Agilent, Shimadzu, PerkinElmer, Varian and Thermo experience is a plus. You must be a proven self motivated individual and possess a valid driver’s license.
