Our client, a leading company in the furniture industry, is looking for a cashier.

Main Responsibilites:-

Receiving payments for items purchased from the Company.

Attending to daily deposits by 10.00a.m on the day after deposits received.

Ensuring that all non-cash payments (cheques, cards, bonus points) as well as all discount cards, carry all necessary and accurate information, e.g Names, dates, expiry dates, amounts etc.

Ensuring that all payments received is accurate and correspond with the intended total to be paid by the customer by checking it in the customer's presence.

Ensuring that any monies taken from the cash register, are replaced by a cheque.

Ensuring that an authorized signature is present on all documents that accompany the receiving and disbursing of all payments, eg. Invoices, cheque requisition vouchers, job tickets etc.

Ensuring that all cheques/job tickets received have the customer's telephone number and invoice/ticket number on the back.

Preparing all necessary reports for daily sales.

Liasing with the Accounts Dept, General Manager or the undersigned immediately when problems arise.

Ensuring proper record-keeping, including documents that have been cancelled.

Miscellaneous filling.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 CXC/O LEVELS, including english and maths (all of general proficiency)

Minimum of 2 years experience

Between 25-35 years

Physically capable and willing to work.

Minimum Requirements

• Certificate in Journeyman.
• Technical Drawing/Autocad.
• Three(3) years Industrial Maintenance experience.
• Good oral & written communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certificate in Auto Diesel Repairs.
• Secondary School Education.
• Valid Drivers Permit – Class 2/7.
• Three(3) years experience in Mobile Equipment Maintenance.
• Good oral & written communication skills.
